EXPERIENCE
Prior to serving as a fractional legal executive for founders and executives, Laura Fleet founded a healthcare technology company and served as CEO. She successfully scaled the company from ideation to a $40MM valuation in under seven years. As CEO she developed targeted strategies resulting in an average 26% year-over-year revenue increase, positioning the company for continued growth and expansion. She established a comprehensive investor relations strategy, resulting in the successful acquisition of $11 million in capitalization. She orchestrated the commercialization of new products and technologies across multiple states. Additionally, she drew on her success as an attorney to develop comprehensive legal policies and procedures, corporate governance documents, Master Service Agreements and serve on the Board of Directors.

Once her health care technology company reached peak performance and scaled to multi-state success, she was drawn back to her passion of working with early-stage companies to achieve their success stories. Laura thrives and is at her happiest amid the dynamics of growing an idea into a flourishing company.
Mrs. Fleet continues as Of Counsel for a US News & World Report Best Lawyers Firm, and has maintained this role for twenty years. In this role she delivers comprehensive legal counsel on corporate governance, including reviewing and drafting contracts, policies, and procedures. She helps her clients navigate complex regulatory landscapes, providing expert guidance on legal compliance matters, identifying and assessing potential operational risks and advising executive leadership on legal matters, providing informed decision-making and mitigating potential legal risks.
She previously served as Executive Director for a non-profit trade association for twenty years. In this role she advocated for the Health Insurance industry through strategic lobbying efforts. She implemented a legislative tracking system for Health Insurance legislative updates, ensuring timely compliance with new laws and regulations for the industry, as well as representing the Health Insurance plans in negotiations with government agencies. She also served on the Board of Directors for the Association during the entirety of her twenty years serving as Executive Director.
